Medium-early smooth-skinned sweet flavored carrot with high carotene content. It is 20-22 cm long, cylindrical with offset root neck and straight head. The root is of deep red color. High yield. Suitable for freezing.
Non hybrid
Location: Sun, loose, light, humus-rich soil that has not been freshly fertilized and in an open, airy position. Cover the seed shallowly with soil, press down well and keep moist. Germination period 14-28 days at 6-22°C. If the carrots are too dense after sprouting, it is worth pulling or separating them to ensure good quality. Always keep moist (otherwise the carrots will burst due to a different water supply), keep rows weed-free. To prevent infestation with carrot flies, it is advisable to cover the beds with special crop protection nets from the beginning of May or to sow carrots in mixed cultivation with onions or savory. Harvest: The carrots have the highest nutrient content in the morning, but the lowest nitrate content in the afternoon should be the decisive factor for harvesting; if possible, harvest after a few dry, sunny days
