Description

Proven universal variety (of the nantaisetype) with fine, tender-fleshed, smooth, large (ca.22cm), cylindrical, well colored carrots and good shelf life. Ideally suited as an early crop, summer carrot. The variety is high-yielding, sweet and has a strong color. Perfectly usable as juice or as a cooked side dish. Very rich in vitamins and fiber.

Growing tips

Cover the seeds with soil. Water regularly, keep the soil loose and weed-free. Carrots love loose, humus-rich garden soil. Do not place in fresh organic fertilizer, ensure a sufficient supply of lime. Avoid overwatering. Carrots can also be sown in the fall and harvested in May of the following year.
