Growing tips

Prefers a loose, nutritious soil, which must not be freshly fertilized with manure, and a place in a sunny, airy position. Sow directly on the spot from mid-February to early July. Cover the seed only lightly. Sowing depth approx. 0.5-1cm. Germination somewhat uneven depending on temperature after approx. 14-24 days. Keep the seedbed moist for germination. Thin out if necessary. Harvest approx. 14-18 weeks after sowing. Only use undamaged carrots for storage.
