Description

A classic of the Mediterranean cuisine is getting more and more lost in our herb gardens or even on the windowsills. In a sunny location, the golden oregano 'Goldtaler' grows particularly lush. You are in for a bountiful harvest. The leaves retain their flavor even when dried and can be used in a variety of ways. The plant grows as a ground cover and blooms between July and August. Soothe sore muscles with a tea made from oregano leaves.

F1 Hybrid

Frostproof

Growing tips

Prune back in late fall to about five centimetres above ground level. In the bed, if there are severe frosts and no snow cover, protect the plant with leaves and brushwood or garden fleece. Containers in particular must then be completely covered with special winter protection mats. Frost-free days should be used to water the plants.
