The bolt-resistant white cabbage "Sunta" forms strong, compact heads and is ideal for early planting with little spacing. The first aromatic, sweet-tasting heads weighing between 1.2 and 1.5 kg can be harvested as early as the end of May. The short cultivation period of 60-70 days is remarkable. Due to its unique flavor, Sunta is ideal for raw vegetable salads. The very uniform heads have a firm internal structure.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
White cabbage thrives best in full sun and prefers humus-rich, nutrient-rich and moist soil. A high clay content is favorable. The plants can be pre-grown from mid-February at a sowing depth of approx. 1 cm. Then prick out into pots and plant out soon. Cabbage plants are at risk from many pests, such as cabbage flies, aphids and cabbage whitefly caterpillars. It is therefore worth covering the plants with a crop protection net from planting to harvest. This allows you to harvest tasty cabbage without any spraying. Cabbage is also a heavy eater, so make sure you provide it with sufficient nutrients.
