Description

Winter hardy variety, with large, flat-round, white edible onions, harvested as spring onions. Short-term storage possible. Can also be harvested as spring onions from April. Raw they are suitable for seasoning salads, cooked with many vegetable, fish and meat dishes.

Growing tips

Sow 1 cm deep in rows 25 cm apart. Press down lightly, cover with soil and keep moist. Separate strong plants to 5 cm. Loves sunny, moderately moist locations in humusy, well-drained, easily warmed soil that dries out well. Water during prolonged drought.
