Description

Santero F1 is one of the first varieties to be resistant to onion powdery mildew. They have a spherical to slightly flat shape with a copper/golden skin. It has a main crop maturity with good yields and is easy to store.

Growing tips

Sow from February to April under glass in pots or seed trays. Sow the seeds on the surface of the sowing soil and cover them lightly with vermiculite or compost, and place them at a temperature of 14°C. Sowing outdoors can be done in April, sow the seeds thinly in shallow drills with a depth of 1 cm and a distance of 30 cm between the rows.
