A classic onion from France with a mild, sweet and spicy flavor. Pure white onion, pink layers. Very good storage life. Probably the tastiest onion of its kind!
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sow the bulbs from February to March in apartments with good potting soil. Plant in the garden in April or May when the plants are at least the size of a pencil lead. Set the plants 15 cm apart in rows 20 cm apart. Onions benefit from frequent watering and shallow tilling. Stop watering in August. Harvest the onions when the stems are shriveled and toppled over.
