Description

The small leek has a similarity in taste to spring onions and can be used in the same way. When flowering begins, the taste of the leaves becomes milder. The flowers are also edible and have a slightly sweet note to the leeky aroma, which is very suitable for salads.

F1 Hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Chives can be sown and harvested all year round indoors, on the windowsill or in a greenhouse. From May also on balconies, terraces or outdoors. Germination 15-20 days at 15-20 degrees. Flowers are edible.
