Description

Very old variety from Germany, which was already cultivated in Freiburg in the late 18th century. Mass bearer until the first frost: small (approx. 3 cm, 20-40 g), round, red, sweet-spicy-aromatic fruits with 2 fruit chambers, juicy soft flesh, covered by a soft but largely burst-resistant skin, disease-resistant, also very suitable for outdoor cultivation. Medium-early ripening, then fruits continuously until the first frost.

Growing tips

Can grow over 2 meters high and be grown on multiple shoots. 'Besser' is an early variety that takes around 55 days from fertilization to ripening. Further growing tips for the Cocktail pole tomato variety.
