Description

The Datlo tomato is a high-yielding date tomato from the Czech Republic. The date-shaped, golden-orange fruits have an excellent, fruity aroma and grow to a size of 4-5 cm and weigh approx. 12-18g. Very tasty! This variety is perfect for drying due to its low water content. They grow to a height of up to 2.50 m. The plants are very robust and can also be grown outdoors. High tolerance to brown rot and very burst-resistant fruits.

Growing tips

Pre-cultivation: Sow in seed trays 2x2 cm apart. After sowing, cover the seeds with soil to seed size. A soil temperature of 25-30°C is optimal for germination. Prick out into individual pots 2-3 weeks after emergence and continue to cultivate at 18-20°C. Only plant out after the late frosts. It is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, in protected open ground, but also in containers on balconies or terraces and prefers a warm, sunny location.
