Description

The outdoor cocktail tomato Clou has juicy, crunchy, yellow fruits. Its mild flavor and pleasant acidity with a fruit weight of 35 g provide numerous uses in the kitchen, for example in salads, vegetable dishes or as a snack for in between. Clou has a robust, vigorous, large young plant and has improved field resistance to late blight. The happy-growing, healthy plant has loose, potato-leaved foliage and is very early maturing.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Germination in 10-14 days at 18-24°C. Sow from mid-February with the aim of planting in flower after the last frost. Sow at a depth of 0.2-0.5 cm. Prick out and pot up after the first foliage leaf has formed. The plant should be covered with soil to just below the cotyledons to allow sufficient roots to form. Outdoor tomatoes can be grown unprotected outdoors. They should be regularly pinched out and tied up. An adequate supply of nutrients increases the yield, but Clou also performs well with reduced fertilization and watering. Further growing tips for the species Cocktail pole tomato.
