Description

From Italy. Also called yellow bull's horn. Fruits are yellow, elongated (about 20 cm long), thick-walled and high-yielding with mild-sweet and juicy flavor. Needs a germination temperature of min. 16°C, optimal is 22-30°C.

Growing tips

Cultivation is prolonged in the greenhouse. Locations protected from wind and rain are advantageous. As soon as the first true leaves have formed (approx. 2-4), the plant can be pricked out. Needs plenty of warmth and nutrients. A support for stability can be useful. Cultivation break: 4 years.
