Description

Ingrid is a medium-late bell pepper variety with fruits ripening from green to chocolate brown to red. The average fruit weight is 200 g. Small, compact plant. High yielding. Also suitable for pot culture. In the greenhouse, planting (from April) and harvesting (from June) are possible earlier.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Better in a greenhouse. Cover the seeds only lightly with soil for germination, keep them evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C, preferably 25°C). A bright location is also important. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits begin to form, fertilize about once a week. The first flower can be broken off to encourage the formation of further fruit. Wind-protected locations are advantageous.
