Dumas is a compact and sturdy red bell pepper with round to wedge-shaped fruits. Thick-walled with a weight of around 90 grams per fruit. Due to its relatively early ripening period and the compact and good fruit set, Dumas is also well suited for cultivation in sufficiently large pots on balconies and terraces. It can also be grown well in a greenhouse. Grows to a height of approx. 50-60 cm outdoors. Suitable raw and also good for pickling.
