Description

The Oxhorn variety is a mild, long, thin-walled, cone-shaped sweet bell pepper, initially green and turning red toward maturity. High yielding. Also good for outdoor growing. Germination after 18-22 days at 22-25°C.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Cover the seeds only lightly with soil to germinate, keep them evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C, preferably 25°C). A bright location is also important. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits begin to form, fertilize about once a week. The first flower can be broken off to encourage the formation of further fruit. Locations protected from the wind are advantageous. Support shoots if necessary.
