Description

Snowball is a popular and traditional cauliflower with small heads. Its pure white, smooth and crisp head weighs about 1 kg.

Growing tips

Sow from July to the beginning of August in seed trays or on seedbeds. Germination temperature 16 - 20 °C. Germination time 8 - 10 days. Prick out 5 × 5 cm after approx. 15 days. Plant out from mid-September to mid-October on 40 × 60 cm, in well-fertilized soil, needs plenty of moisture. Harvest approx. 40 - 45 weeks after sowing, mid-April to May.
