Growing tips

Germination after 1-2 weeks from a minimum soil temperature of 16°C, 24°C is optimal. 'Warm feet' through compost or horse manure recommended. Harvest from approx. 80 days after sowing. Harvest the first fruits early so that the plant does not put all its energy into the first fruits and produces enough more. Do not water cucumbers with water that is too cold. Do not grow parthenocarpic varieties, i.e. purely female-flowering varieties, near mixed-flowering varieties. Further cultivation tips for the cucumber species.
