Salad cucumber Tanja is a completely bitter-free, high-yielding and proven land cucumber with dark green, slender, aromatic and seedless fruits about 35 cm long. It can also be used well as a box cucumber. The dark green cucumbers do very well in summer salads or as a cool snack during warm days.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Pre-planting: for heated greenhouse cultivation: from mid-February for planting in mid-March. Wind-protected location in the open field is advantageous. Germination after 10-15 days at 24°C. Keep evenly moist. Harvest first fruits early, this encourages formation of more fruits. Grows horizontally or climbing. A trellis is recommended, then the plant is better ventilated.
