Description

Spinach belongs to the goosefoot family. It has a very short growing season, making it ideal as a pre- and post-crop. There are around 50 varieties of spring and winter spinach with different shapes, colors, and textures.

Spinach can be sown either in spring from March to May or as winter spinach in mid-September. After sowing, a sufficient water supply and weed control is necessary.
