Description

Moneymaker is a high-yielding, robust, cold-tolerant and vigorous lettuce tomato. It is tolerant to many diseases, such as late blight. It produces red, medium sized, thick-skinned fruits without green collar, weighing between 50-120 g. The fruits taste typically aromatic of tomato, but not particularly intense, sweetish and sour. The plants can grow up to 3 m high. The harvest period lasts until the first frost. Rather for fresh consumption than for canning. Suitable for outdoor and protected cultivation.

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Sowing depth: 0.2 cm. Germination after 8-10 days from 15°C, optimum at 20-22°C. Harden off before planting out. Sun protection on hot days can protect the tomatoes from sunburn. Do not water from above. Rain protection can prevent brown rot. Water and fertilize regularly. Fertilize with organic fertilizer (compost, manure, plant manure). The fruit-bearing shoots should be propped up or otherwise supported so that they do not break off. The fruit will ripen.
