Description

Premio is a very resistant, high-yielding F1 hybrid tomato variety with a strong stem. The fresh, fruity, red, (flat) round fruits are around 6 cm in size and weigh between 60 and 110 g. Because they are very thick-walled and slice-resistant, they are particularly suitable for fresh salads. The plants grow well in the greenhouse and outdoors. They are resistant to tomato mosaic virus, Fusarium and Verticilium wilt, velvet blotch and Stemphylium leaf spot.

F1 Hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Germination in 10-15 days at 22-25°C. 10 to 14 days after emergence, the seedlings are pricked out individually in pots of 11 to 12. The substrate temperature must never fall below 15°C, otherwise growth stagnation may occur. From mid-May, when it is frost-free and warm enough, the young plants can be planted in the protected open ground or greenhouse. Regularly pinch out the side shoots in the leaf axils. Prefers loose, nutrient-rich, humus-rich and moist soil and a warm, sunny spot sheltered from the wind.
