Description

Pyros, F1 hybrid, is a rather small beefsteak tomato with round, firm, red fruits weighing approx. 150 g. The plant is highly tolerant to the dreaded tomato blight. This makes it ideal for protected outdoor cultivation as well as for growing in greenhouses. Its firm flesh is pleasantly spicy and fruity and at the same time firm when cut, making it ideal for salads, sandwiches, soups and barbecues. With stable, vigorous growth, this high-yielding vine tomato of approx. 150 - 170 cm in height produces high and long-lasting yields in a warm, sheltered spot.

Growing tips

Germination at 18-22°C in 10-14 days. Tip: lower a flower pot into the soil next to the plants early on to help with watering. It quickly absorbs a lot of water and allows it to seep away gently. Further growing tips for the pole tomato variety.
