A sky-blue flower from the forget-me-not family is a real feast for the eyes in any setting in spring and summer. The forget-me-not is extremely hardy when sown dry and grows quite tall and fleshy light gray the next year after flowering as a fresh herb with its rigid growth habit. Forget-me-not grows to a height of approx. 25 cm. It is one of those species that spreads almost all by itself, weeds out strongly in the second season and can also be stored in winter in pots on the roof or laid out in the nursery in a tidally raised position. The sowing and later emergence of the small plants go very well with the bee curly weed. The forget-me-not loves sunny to semi-shady locations in well-drained, loose soil. Sow the seeds for pre-cultivation from May in trays or directly in the open ground, do not cover, just press down lightly and keep moist. Plant outdoors from September. If sowing is too full or too sparse, press later to increase plant spacing. 14-20 days at 18-20 °C. Overwinter in a cool place, frost protection required if overwintering outdoors.
