Produces delicious, fresh-tasting plum tomatoes with juicy, firm fruits that are almost seedless. A very high yielding and hardy variety. Early to medium early. Low, vigorous growth. Suitable for sauces.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Germination after 7-14 days at 18-25°C. The young plants can be started in February. Once the risk of frost has passed in May, the plants are ready to be planted out in the open, preferably in a full sun location. Plenty of water and a regular supply of nutrients will increase the yield. As 'Roma VF' is highly resistant to typical soil diseases, it can usually be grown without any problems. Must be supported, tied or hung.
