Description

Medium-length (15-20cm), smooth Nantais carrot, fast-growing. Attractively colored, tender and very sweet. They are nicely uniformly shaped, high yielding, resistant to cracking and breaking, and eat fresh and store or freeze well. Romance is an F1 hybrid that has become a multiple taste winner in independent tests.

Growing tips

Loose, nutritious soil, not freshly fertilized with manure. Keep sowing constantly moist until germination. At a soil temperature of 12-15°C in 18-24 days. Carrots germinate relatively slowly, radish is recommended as a marker seed. Spread out to 5 cm if too dense.
