Growing tips

Sow finely every 4 weeks, 1 cm deep, in rows 23-30 cm apart, directly into the open bed. Germination 10-20 days at 12-15 degrees. If necessary, thin out seedlings later to a distance of 2.5 cm in order to harvest small, sweet carrots. Thin out to a distance of 5 cm to harvest larger carrots. They thrive best in deep, stone-free sandy soil.
