Nantaise type early carrot with cylindrical shape, slightly flattened shoulders, smooth skin and fine foliage. Juicy, sweet and slightly aromatic. Bunch, wash and store carrot. (from cultivation seed)
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Location: Sun, loose, light, humus-rich soil that has not been freshly fertilized and in an open, airy position. Cover the seed shallowly with soil, press down well and keep moist. Germination takes a few weeks at 6-22°C. If the carrots are too dense after sprouting, it is worth pulling or separating them to ensure good quality. Always keep moist (otherwise the carrots will burst due to a different water supply), keep rows weed-free. To prevent infestation with carrot flies, it is advisable to cover the beds with special crop protection nets from the beginning of May, or to sow carrots in mixed cultivation with onions or savory.
