Description

Violet, intense color. Medium late. "Primal Carrot." Decorative. Up to 25 cm long. Good storage life. F1 hybrid, with water spot disease resistance. Sweetish taste. Germination after 14-21 days at 12-20°C.

Growing tips

If necessary, cover with a special cultivation net to prevent carrot fly infestation (especially from the beginning of May). It often helps if the carrots are sown in the direction of the wind so that the flies do not have a protected place to lay their eggs. Separation may be necessary. Even watering/keeping moist is important for germination and to prevent bursting. Do not sow on freshly fertilized soil. Do not use manure. Keep free of weeds. A little fertilizer can be added if the plants grow as tall as a hand.
