Description

Robust, cylindrical, smooth carrot variety with good coloration and aromatic sweet taste. For early sowing and as needed every 3 weeks subsequent sowings until July. In addition, fall sowing is possible in November (catherine roots). Freezable, good shelf life. (Kiepenkerl)

Growing tips

Sowing depth 0.5 cm. Germination period 14-21 days at 6-20°C. Loves loose, deep and nutrient-rich soil that is not pre-fertilized. Full sun exposure, avoid waterlogging, but always keep moist (otherwise carrots will burst if watered differently). If the carrots are too dense after emergence, it is worth pulling them forward or separating them in order to obtain good quality. Keep rows free of weeds.
