Description

Early maturity (about 80-90 days), high yield and a particularly sweet-aromatic taste characterize the popular carrot variety of the nantaisetype. Its smooth, cylindrical shape makes it easy to wash and prepare. The variety is suitable for juicing, freezing, cooking and as fresh food for salads and snacks. Rating: tender and crunchy.

Growing tips

Carrots require a deep, humus-rich soil that has not been organically fertilized. Sowing: From the end of March to the beginning of July. Sowing depth in a fine-crumb seedbed is approx. 2 cm. Row spacing 25-30 cm. Spacing in the row 4-5 cm. The germination temperature should not be below 12-15°C. Emergence occurs after 2-3 weeks. Cover with a cultivation net to prevent the carrot fly from entering.
