Very long, slender, cylindrical, well blunted autumn and winter carrot (improved Long Red Blunt without heart). Very good storage properties. Intensely orange through-colored and with a distinctly sweet, nutty-mild taste typical of carrots. Resistant to Alternaria and insensitive to cold.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Cultivation period: 150-160 days. Direct sowing: outdoors from March to the beginning of July at the latest, as bunched carrots until the end of July. Germination period up to 4 weeks at 5-35°C. To combat the carrot fly, hilling, mixed cultivation with leeks, cultivation under netting and avoidance of areas with fresh organic fertilizer helps. Carrots take a very long time to germinate and must be kept moist during this time. Weed regularly. Later singling out is usually necessary to form large beets. Do not grow umbellifers on the same area more than every 4 years.
