Description

Long, slender, cylindrical (winter) carrot of bright orange color and aromatic mild flavor. Approx. 25cm. Crisp flesh, strong, healthy foliage and good storability. High-yielding, medium-late variety with long cultivation, largely insensitive to pests and diseases.

Growing tips

Germination in 14-21 days at 10-20 degrees. If sown thinly, do not thin out. Deep soil important due to length. Needs sufficient water, weeds should be weeded regularly. Late carrots can remain in the ground until autumn and are harvested when the leaf tips turn red or yellow.
