Description

Butterhead lettuce 'Tom Thumb' is an old English early variety (from 1850) with small, firm, crisp round heads about the size of a grapefruit with tender green, slightly curled leaves and a beautiful, light green, tender heart. It is ideal for small gardens, containers or window boxes and is the perfect size for a one-person salad. It is an excellent summer salad as it does not bolt easily in warmer temperatures.

Non hybrid
