Description

Lettuce 'Winter Butterhead' is a proven hardy lettuce variety with yellowish-green leaf mass. Provides firm heads already in early spring.

Growing tips

Temperatures above 20°C have a very negative effect on germination - never sow in hot weather. Never plant lettuce plants too deep. The heart must not be covered with soil. The plants will rot or no good heads will form. Cover the butterhead in winter in the event of heavy frosts.
