Description

Red-brown colored head lettuce with good head formation and good shoot resistance. Suitable for spring cultivation. Particularly aromatic. Specialty for the hobby. Tip: Cover the sowings only weakly (light germinators). In very warm weather, keep the sowing tray cool for about 10 hours immediately after sowing, as too high temperatures can inhibit germination.

Growing tips

Water generously in dry conditions, especially when the plants are young! Lettuce thrives well in all garden soils. Sow shallowly and thinly every 2-3 weeks, then you can harvest lettuce all year round. When the seedlings are about 5 cm high, do not transplant too deep. Lettuce thrives particularly well in plenty of light and moderate temperatures. Frequent watering is crucial so that the leaves become tender and grow faster. Water less and more carefully as soon as the lettuce becomes firmer and the heads begin to close.
