Description

Zora is a small-headed white cabbage that takes up little space and ripens quickly (60-70 days). A ready-to-eat head of this cabbage variety is slightly elliptical, light green, closed and consists of soft, crispy, tender leaves, delicate in taste, which can be eaten raw, cooked or steamed. A mature head of 'Zora' cabbage weighs 0.7 - 0.9 kg. A variety that can also be cultivated in the modern squarefoot bed. Zora is particularly suitable for early cultivation. Late cultivation can result in loose heads in hot summers. Zora can only be stored for a short time. It is harvested around 70 days after planting.

Growing tips

Cabbage prefers humusy, calcareous, deep, slightly heavier soil in a sunny location. An even supply of water and nutrients is important during growth. When planting seedlings, the soil should be moist and the seedlings should be watered well. A final harvest in winter is possible, as cabbage tolerates sub-zero temperatures. However, to be on the safe side, you can still cover it with a fleece.
