The seeds can be soaked overnight in chamomile tea, which should help to improve germination. Germination from approx. 8°C soil temperature, optimally 20°C after approx. 7-10 days. Sowing under foil or fleece is possible for early germination. Can be grown without climbing support as it is self-supporting. Always keep evenly moist, especially during flower and pod formation, to prevent them from falling off. Process immediately after picking, after 2-3 days they convert sugar to starch and become bitter and mealy. (From Dürr)
